All I'm going to do today is advise you to head on over to http://www.the-spa.com/mw/. There you'll find the transcript of a panel discussion featuring Cecil Taylor from 1964. It's long, but well worth a read. Taylor had a reputation for being provocative, and I think that comes over well in the text - although he does seem to have a hard time defending the concept of free improvisation to the rest of the panel. More Cecil soon - don't go away...
